W10877 Extremely rare Georgian ship's decanter, the neck cut with vertical broad flutes between four fluted blade neck rings over cushion shaped body cut with broad shoulder flutes over basal vertical hollow comb flutes. Original matching hollow blown stopper. The original turned mahogany coaster rests on three small casters with their original leather rollers. The coaster is attributed to James Mein of Kelso. Circa 1820.
